Redlynch Players are honoured to have been awarded the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) Achievement winners for District 12 of the organisation which covers the Salisbury, Bournemouth and Poole region. Last week, a small contingent from the group went to a glamourous award ceremony in Exeter, mixing with the very best in amateur theatre in the South West to receive it.

With continuing sold out plays their standard of acting skills is exceptional and their dedication, commitment and hard work shows in all their productions. The group just missed out on two other regional awards, having also been nominated for Best Comedy for their production of Deckchairs and Best Drama, for their production of Two.
This award and nominations were a fantastic recognition of all the hard work, support and dedication put into each performance by every single person, patron and audience member of our special group. Chosen from more than 200 drama groups in the South West area, this acknowledgment comes just as we enter our 70th year when we plan to celebrate in style and bring even more excellent drama to the local area.
