After a cold, long, dank winter, do you find yourself longing for some sun, fun and trip out? We certainly did, so we have planned just such an evening or you to look forward to this spring! In May, we will taking a trip to the seaside to perform a selection from Jean McConnell’s popular Deckchairs series. These twist in the tail playlets all take place near a seaside promenade and are, by turns, both funny and poignant. Set in a variety of scenarios, each playlet has been crafted for two women and explore the relationships between them – often with a humorous surprise! Ranging from well-to-do shopaholics, bickering actresses during their summer season, and more, Jean McConnell’s scripts sparkle with wit and are just the tonic for an evening transporting us to the seaside. In our true style, the evening will be seaside themed from start to finish and we are looking forward to being beside the seaside with you!
This year, we are trialing new dates and will be performing in Redlynch Village Hall from Tuesday 13th May through to Friday 16th May. Please note we will not be performing on the Saturday!
Please look out for further publicity detailing when tickets go on sale!
