Well thank you so much for making Abigail’s Party such a success! We have such a loyal following and we are extremely grateful for it. We do love to challenge ourselves and taking on this iconic play for our Autumn production was certainly another such task. Selling out of tickets three weeks prior to opening night added to the excitement and I must say a huge thanks to Ron Perry for his brilliantly efficient ticket sales and deliveries! So many of you spoke of your own memories of seeing the play either on stage or on the tv in the past and so we were determined to do our absolute best to live up to those expectations. I hope we did! Thanks must go to Lloyd Perry for directing our small cast magnificently, each of whom did a great job. I must also note a belated congratulations to Andrew Harrison King (playing Tony) who cycled all the way from John o’ Groats to Lands End at the start of our rehearsal schedule. He claims it was a good excuse to grow his beard for the play! Cycling all that way was certainly a fantastic achievement!
